We offer a 12 year guarantee when you purchase a Worcester Bosch 8000 Lifestyle gas boiler installed with a Greenstar System filter and all the other Worcester Bosch Greenstar gas boilers still come with a 10 year guarantee while the new affordable Worcester 2000 gas combi comes with a 6 year guarantee when fitted with a Greenstar system filter.
All Worcester Bosch Greenstar oil boilers come with a 7 year guarantee when installed with a Greenstar System Filter.

From General Stores in 1975 to modern heating company today…..
1974: Ilex General Stores bought by Peter Gammon after leaving High Wycombe where he worked as a branch manager for Calor Gas. Peter had served an apprenticeship with British Gas and was already a time served engineer.
1975: Ilex Stores Gas Installers. Peter started offering gas fitting services as well as Calor Gas deliveries to the local area.
1984: Ilex Gas Installers. Peter’s son Jason joins the business after leaving school. Jason serves his apprenticeship. The shop is converted from a general store to a gas showroom.
1994: Jason leaves the business to gain further experience in the heating trade including oil and air-conditioning services.
2000: Jason rejoins Ilex to continue in the family business.
2004: Ilex Heating Services. Peter retires and hands over the business to Jason, who subsequently takes on an apprentice engineer.
2006: Ilex accepts an invitation from leading British boiler manufacturer Worcester Bosch to join their accredited installer scheme.
2008: To reflect increased “green” credentials, the company is re-branded “Ilex Eco Heating Systems” with a new and dynamic image designed to promote exciting opportunities for both the company and its customers.
2010: Ilex carries out the first air source installation at East Huntspill Village Hall. Four heat pump units provide all year round comfort for visitors.
2014: Ilex introduce gas engineer software, providing our customers and landlords a managed service/gas safety inspection reminder service via automated email reminder notifications.
2015: Ilex celebrates 40 years of service to the local community, still supporting many long standing customers and welcoming new ones all the time.
2016: in partnership with Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance, Ilex are now able to offer their customers 0% APR finance over 10 months on Worcester Bosch Group boilers (subject to status).
2017: Ilex join forces with Trust Pilot to promote the long established ethos of exemplary customer satisfaction by encouraging and promoting online reviews, swiftly collecting a 5 star overall rating!

We take time to properly survey your home. The quote is competitively and accurately priced. We won’t ask for a penny more on completion! We don’t ask for a deposit, just a payment in full on completion.
“We will allocate consecutive days for your installation.”
We won’t undertake a job unless we can guarantee to allocate consecutive days to ensure the installation is completed with the minimum of inconvenience to you. Once we are “on the job” we will come back until it is completed. We typically arrive on site at 08:30 and leave at 16:30. You will be told on a daily basis as these times may differ.

We will endeavour to keep your home in a safe and tidy condition by using dust sheets, storing tools and materials safely at the end of the day, and by maintaining water and gas services as long as possible for your comfort and convenience.

The job isn’t finished until it’s handed over to the customer. We all know that the controls in modern heating systems can be a little involved, therefore we will spend as much time as necessary to enable you to fully understand your new heating system.
“Your heating system will meet the current building regulations.”
In summary, your new heating system will be “self certified” for building regs, which means that you won’t need to apply to the local planning office for building regulation approval which involves an application fee of up to £300 and a visit from a building inspector.
